Steve, You have no factual basis by which base presumptions or unfavorable comparisons about me or Show Your Auto llc. It is clear you have no idea how my service works, or what motives me as a business person. Any further characterizations will be considered an act of libel. I owe you nothing in the way of explanation however, since you insist on using a public forum to take pot shots at me, a few points of clarification: I do not work for dealers or buy cars to resell them. I have never made, nor charged $25k per vehicle to find a private owner a car they were looking for. I serve buyers who are looking these cars (new or vintage) and find the best value for the specific car they seek. What is substantial that Steven Becker spends 10am Easter Morning to discredit my efforts to make buying a new GT500 a fun experience for my fellow listers. I apologize to the list that you have endure this childish antic. B Jackson this weekend..try number two Sorry if this duplicates...it did not post the first time. Good morning. Is anyone from the list going to B Jackson this weekend. I have mulled over going but have not made a final decision. Pete Geisler...are you going? If anyone goes......look for the 45 year old guy , glasses, wearing a medium blue baseball hat with a big BC on the front. I will be with my 6'1" son who is far more articulate than I am! If I go, I'll probably wear one of my old SAAC member T shirts. I called BJ several months ago about selling a car and I was told that if I wanted a good spot it would be $1,000.00 (minimum) plus the 8% fee....and if I requested a reserve...any reserve....my car would not be chosen. I'm left with the thought, if you had a really nice car..as many of us do...why would you want to sell it there? I understand that BJ brings in gobs of money but the potential downside also seems ......large. Oh, it was hinted that I could always have a "friend" buy the car ...and that would only cost me 8% of the final price. Wow, what a bargain! Have a great weekend.
