Sounds GREAT to me, too. It'd be a *sort of Mid-West* location that's WEST
of the Mississippi (and the great plains), for once.

While I'd like to see an '07 West Coast event at a different track than the
CA Speedway, two WC locations in a row (given '08 at the CA speedway) don't
sound likely...maybe for '11, though?

AND, speaking of '08 in Fontana...How about hotel(s) just a LITTLE closer to
the track (to avoid a freeway clusterf*ck like the one last Fri night)--like
the one(s) we used in '02 ??? Absolutely NO disrespect meant to those
killed/injured in the accident that tied up freeway traffic for hours...but regarding
"LA freeways", I'd think the suggestion would be "count on it again" rather
than "maybe it won't happen next time", eh?

I used the surface streets to get from the track to the Motel. No traffic to worry about! I only had to use the 10 freeway for 5 miles. One thing about So. Cal. is the fact that there are literally 10 different ways to get from one place to another.

Just my observation.
