Those of us from SAAC NW worked it out--and verified it--on our own, AFTER getting burned the first time. While I didn't think of it 'til it was about 200 yards too late to take advantage of it ("Experience is usually what you get just AFTER it'd have been of major benefit..."), I was able to contact a couple of our folks about half a mile behind me in the traffic jam & suggest they call the Marriot to confirm which surface route(s) might work best for them. Oh, and the (international publishing house) map I was using had two MAJOR mistakes regarding the area between the Speedway & the Marriot, which didn't help the situation (but that's an issue I'll be contacting THEM about, eh?). Dave "NEXT time" we're in the CA Speedway area, I'll make sure I've got the alternatives laid out ahead of time on my own
