Re: SAAC 32 - Where do you want it to be held?

  1. Denver would be a nice location and Pikes Peak International Raceway is a nice facility but
not a great road course. It is short at 1.3 miles and can be pretty hard on tires through the infield. It has two passing zones on the front and back stretches but you need some cooperation to make passes on the back straight since it isn't that long and is not really all that straight. Trying to put a lot of cars on track would result in long freight trains and minimum fun for all involved.
The track is probably about 10 miles south of Colorado Springs where there are a bunch of nice hotels and restaurants.
