In SAAC Shelby surviver class the car has to have at least 75% original paint ,minimal replacement of parts or detailing. I have seen repainted cares that were so original untouched and WELL PRESERVED ( not be confused with original and rusty dingy, corroded etc.) That the minimum paint requirement was overlooked. All those things are taken into consideration and all of the head judges get together and vote .
