I am definately getting one - like many other people on here, I am looking
for a matched set, so Yellow/black stripes will be the go. Next
project on the KR is paint and body, and I have been toying with the
idea of going with Lemans stripes on it - still undecided though,
but either way, the two will match. Oh, who's the best Shelby body'n'paint
man in Northern California?

For action plan, all I've done is call every dealer in a 50 mile radius,
and ask them to put my name on "the list". I don't mind being patient
though - in fact, a 2008 might be even better, seeing as the KR is of
course a '68. Oooh, there's a thought, I wonder if they will
bring out a 2008 KR anniversary model? Who has the hotline into Ford
to drop that little hint?

About pricing, do you really think it will be as crazy as the GT? I
know this model is a "Shelby", but really it is just another Cobra -
did they ever go for more than $5k over retail when each model
of a series was first introduced?

I was at the San Jose Grand Prix two weeks ago, and caught the "Drifting"
competition. There was a 2005 Mustang in the competition (driven by
an 18 year old apparently), and it looked *sweet*, especially sliding
sideways around a corner with a huge cloud of smoke coming from the
tyres...
