[Shelbymustang] 69 GT500 possible sale TheCarSource.com Shelby Mustang List ------------------------------------ Hi Guys I may be putting on the market #2174 69 GT 500 as my boys are both starting uni and I have been informed that I may not qualify for student loans status as we have been out of the country for 20 years. Either way if I have serious enquiries I will consider the sale. Marti report included with this 80,100 mile Wimbledon White special order Home office reserve vehicle from Shelby Automotive as standard option. No tilt, no aircon, no spare tire or jack with deluxe racing belt harness with C6. Build completed 5 days prior to completion date, sent to Shelby Automotive. Signed by Shelby and raced by Leonard Oil refineries at Waterford raceway and used as promo car. The vehicle caught fire which caused the recalls of all 69's to have the vented gas cap reconfigured. The vehicle has been stored for many years along side an impressive collection of collectors and muscles. The tires on it are from 1986 as new with the receipts and it is a driver condition vehicle. It will be re-registered here for the first time since 1974.
