    All-
I, too, concur w/Jeff. "Keepin' it real" should be our motto. Clones,
"wanna be's" and re-created cars from C-codes and the like may have a place
in the automotive world but not on this list and the information exchanged
here shouldn't be diluted by them.

    Shelby Mustang Email List
    ------------------------------

I am not for keeping the list to the cars built in the '60's as much for
those reasons, but like one of the previous posters, I think that the
subjects of this list are just not what is going to be interesting to the
owners of the newer cars, and vice-versa. The interests of most of the
owners of the two, really will not have too much in common. This list has
accepted some clones, but the people who own those thend to stick to the
typical subjects of this list when asking questions here.

If I hve suspension and handling questions about my Shelby (for example) I
post something over on corner-carvers.com or something. I realize that
with a few exceptions there is not much knowledge here on that subject.

I guess I am saying that it sort of takes care of itself. We pass around
restoration and values info here. That is what peole here know. New
Eleanors don't need restoring (yet) and I doubt many of us know much about
the value of these cars yet.

I agree with Calvin on this subject. He made some very good points that I thought were practical.

The list does seem to take care of itself.
