Shelby Mustang Email List ------------------------------ Jim: Word has it that the car at BJs you are refering to, (the repaint $450K car) wound up being a no sale after the guy that bought it discovered it was a color change car. Supposedly BJ and or the previous owner/dealer never mentioned it on or before the auction, so the guy who bought it demanded his money back. Shelby Mustang Email List ------------------------------ I see no reason why not disclosing a color change would be grounds to cancel a sale. That is very hard to believe. _______________________________________________ ShelbyMustang mailing list Send email to ShelbyMustang (AT) thecarsource (DOT) com Membership Administration http://thecarsource.com/mailman/listinfo/shelbymustang_thecarsource.com Group Web Page http://www.thecarsource.com/shelbymustang
Shelby Mustang Email List ------------------------------ I cannot verify the story, nor do I really care to, however that's the story that was told to me from people in the 'Shelby World" I would think that if someone really wants to find out, they can call BJ or the dealer that tried selling the car. _______________________________________________ ShelbyMustang mailing list Send email to ShelbyMustang (AT) thecarsource (DOT) com Membership Administration http://thecarsource.com/mailman/listinfo/shelbymustang_thecarsource.com Group Web Page http://www.thecarsource.com/shelbymustang
Shelby Mustang Email List ------------------------------ If I were to pay top dollar for a car believing it was all correct and original and the seller was saying the car was. Then I found out different, I would demand my money back. bob _______________________________________________ ShelbyMustang mailing list Send email to ShelbyMustang (AT) thecarsource (DOT) com Membership Administration http://thecarsource.com/mailman/listinfo/shelbymustang_thecarsource.com Group Web Page http://www.thecarsource.com/shelbymustang
Shelby Mustang Email List ------------------------------ The color Red is considered by many to be good looking. I am sure that is the main factor . As Jim said in a early thread, RESALE RED. That is because the color makes it easier to sell. Bob G.
