    Jim:

    Word has it that the car at BJs you are refering to, (the repaint $450K car)
    wound up being a no sale after the guy that bought it discovered it was a
    color change car. Supposedly BJ and or the previous owner/dealer never mentioned
    it on or before the auction, so the guy who bought it demanded his money back.

    I cannot verify the story, nor do I really care to, however that's the story
    that was told to me from people in the 'Shelby World"
    I would think that if someone really wants to find out, they can call BJ or
    the dealer that tried selling the car.

    If I were to pay top dollar for a car believing it was all correct and
    original and the seller was saying the car was. Then I found out different, I
    would demand my money back.

    The color Red is considered by many to be good looking. I am sure that
    is the main factor . As Jim said in a early thread, RESALE RED. That is
    because the color makes it easier to sell. Bob G.
