SAAC 30 was..Amazing. Lots of cars and lots of people. Carroll was there and signed stuff. Going price was $100 for stuff and $ 200 for car parts. Saw the 67 GT500 "Super Snake" # 544 there. 20" overall on those stripe dimensions! I will post some pics soon. Anyone have anything to comment or post... I enjoyed meeting many of you there. Sorry I could not meet all of you. Funny how I could see someone's car there ect and never see them all weekend.. ..Just that much going on! As of the new GT500. No deals announced. Carroll said If we want more info on how to get one..Don't call his office. Call 1-800-FORD-SVT They had one there, BUT never popped the hood. Said it was not the right engine. It did look nice! IT always had a crowd around it. Gary Patterson from Shelby American was there and wants to have a track run, side by side with a new FORD GT vs SERIES 1...Maybe we can get that to happen at SAAC Does Las Vegas next year. Anyone know someone with a Ford GT that can come to Vegas in Feb '06 ? Thanks, Jim Elsmore '66 Shelby GT350H #1882 - Hertz/Non Hertz Car! Loved the event, and I am glad to see they will be back in 3 years. I only wish they had a p.a. system, and a more detailed schedule. I had no idea when Carroll would be there, until he showed up. Of course, maybe that is the way they want it. A huge pat on the back for all who helped put this event together, it was a blast!
