I nominate Watkins Glenn (upstate/western NY, a little North of the PA border - for those unfamiliar with the area). Anyone who was at SAAC-18 (held at Watkins Glenn in 1993) will remember a great show, a phenominal turn-out, and a truely legendary track. I never had so much fun! The vendor / swap meet was pretty large compared to the last few SAAC conventions I've been to. It's the best one I've been to so far. Here's an idea for Rick and the SAAC folks: Why not commemorate each great track that Shelby won an important race at in the order that they raced them? I think they won their first race in Oct. '62 at Riverside in CA, and raced around the country all through 1963, 1964 and 1965. Each SAAC convention could have a theme dedicated to the effort that won that particular race. Tracks I'd love to see future SAAC meets at: Pocono Nelson Ledges Sebring Daytona Talledega John Dettori 2001 SVT Cobra Plainview, NY 11803 1986 Mustang SVO jdettori@optonline.net 1967 Shelby GT350 1967 Mustang GT Vert ----- Original Message ----- From: Shlbyman@aol.com To: ShelbyMustang@CarMemories.com Sent: Wednesday, July 06, 2005 4:56 PM Subject: saac 32 site I second Denver!
