shelby 427 sohc ????

    just wondering if any history buffs here or anyone close to carroll knows if a 427 sohc was ever installed in any shelby vehicles for what ever reason??

    Nope, none that i know of. There is a very good article in the latest SAAC magazine about sohc transplants into 427 cobras after the fact though. But other than owners adding them, its safe to say no Shelby cars got them from the factory...the closest shelby would have gotten to that was Don Prudhomme's "Shelby Super Snake" Top Fuel dragster which raced in the 68 Winter nationals, with a Cammer.
