    That whole thread was "tongue-in-cheek"...poking fun at Jim, who is a good friend of the Club.

    Satire is often missed on internet posts.

    Greetings Mr. Ron Richards. I hope you and your now "large parking lot" type Conn based kit-car replica Shelby Cobra club (ClubCobra/SAAC Inc.) sells lots of books and magazines in the coming new year. Because as you well know, the now very old SAAC "Inc" owners (Kopec, Scudder, Pardee, Eber, etc.) are going to need all the extra monies they can generate just to keep their very old SAAC company club alive and kicking.

    BTW, could you please convince the so called "new" SAAC owners to give back the truckloads of original 1962-1970 Shelby American Inc. factory production documentation that was given to them "on-loan" years ago?

    So Shelby Cobra history historians, like myself, and around the world can enjoy researching all the really great original Shelby American Inc. factory production documentation records (like the SAAC Inc. owners have done for years…). This would be a really great answer to all of our prayers after all these long years of waiting.

    Again, you know as well as I do, that all the old SAAC "money magnet con games" are indeed long gone history lessons now (after the Shelby vs. SAAC Inc. owners 2007-08 lawsuit falling out happened, etc.).

    PS: Dear SAAC owners: Please prove "to the world" that you guys are really a great bunch of Shelby aficionados, by returning all the original 1962-1970 Shelby American Inc. factory production documentation records back to the now super great “new” 2010 Shelby American Inc. company and club, so all the world can research and enjoy it together!! (before Mr.Shelby goes horizontal on us all…”Heaven Forbid”..).

    I know you may not keep up with these things, but all that is old news.

    All issues with the Shelby organization have been reconciled and we work together famously now.

    Why do some people have to "stir the pot?" All the info on the good old days is in the registries. There are also a lot of enthusiasts who have done research on their own and have shared photos, programs and dealer info with others who have similar interests. It is not just a few who have hoarded this info for just themselves; but many who have shared with even more people.
    I notice that your avatar is CSX2345, part of the Shelby American Collection in Boulder. What is your connection to this car? Or is your only interest in the Five FIA roadsters and the Six Daytona Coupes that were built and raced back in the day?:grrr:

    I been living in LA, off and on, for 17 long years now, that is not the truth and you know it Mr.Richards. Maybe in your mind it is, but out here in California, word is that the Conn based SAAC Inc. club is no longer in partnership with Shelby American Inc. (SAI), period.

    SAI and CSL only license the use of the Shelby TM names marks for SAAC products usage (T-shirts, books, etc), bottom line true fact Mr.Richards.

    Let the truth set you free!!

    I work for SAI and often post on saacforum and am friends with many of those who run SAAC which is an upstanding organization. U are out of line here. All legal issues between SAI and SAAC were solved quite a long time ago. Seems u need to keep up to snuff on your information.

    You call yourself a "cobra history historian" (btw, what does that even mean?), however, the only times i recall u posting on this forum it usually contains some sort of outburst, bashing another party. If ur such a knowledgeable guy then speak up and start posting some substance and let the world enjoy the plethora of information that an aficionado like yourself surely can bestow on such simpletons as the rest of us.

    Cool off, ur making yourself look like a fool(period)

    Our/my LA based group is building our own talk forum(s) and website(s) currently. A lot of new Shelby Cobra groups/clubs worldwide have done the same over the past 5 years.

    No need for me to be here any longer, on your Shelby talk forum. Because, I know all you "replica kit-car Cobra owners" know each other well, and side with one another all the time as a group (ClubCobra.com,?SAACforum.com).
