To all of you..... Try to get the Snake Oil moving this weekend if weather permits. Don't hide 'em, let folks look at 'em. We took our KR out for a drive last weekend and went by the SEMO University baseball game. One guy came up to me and said "your crazy for driving around in a quarter million dollar car like this one!" Hey, here's nothing like the many "thumbs-up" gestures that you get from all directions while driving around and watching the necks do an "Exorcists" spin-around when your out on the Interstate letting the Cobra Jet breath a little. We even had one college student leave his buddies while partaking heavily of the hops and come over and say "really nice car man, take care of her!" Not only did the KR look fine, but the babe in the co-pilot's seat looked really fine to! We had a nice picnic and at the park and the kids checked out the KR. I'll be at Ripken Stadium (between Balt and Philly) with Susquehanna region SCCA on Saturday. Cool! I have never run at Ripken, but I used to run some events with Susquehanna region at the Farm Show Complex, or something like that was the name of the place. It was in Harrisburg PA. I don't think I ever took the Shelby there, but I used to run my Mustang GT there often. Thanks for the wishes. Happy holidays to all. I have really been driving my car everyday. The reactions are great. Fortunately, no one has crashed because of their attention being drawn to a Shelby. I will have the 1966 out again this weekend too. Keep the cars alive and make the next generation of car enthusiasts remember wonderful feelings about the firat time they saw a Shelby!
