Hello All, I was just curious as to why the Classified section of Shelby Forums is rather small with very few postings??? I realize publications such as SAAC's "Snakebite" is rather light on Shelby's for sale but the parts for sale section has some meat to it! I do like to check out parts for sale and I'm sure most of us would rather purchase from true enthusiasts instead of places elsewhere like at "Evil-Bay"!! Anyways, I'm not complaining as I love this site. I just hope more people start taking advantage of Shelby Forums free classified section. Come on guys and gals start posting more cars and parts for sale!!!! David
Shelby Cars sell Fast. Good original Parts are being hoarded by the masses. These cars are riding a wave of popularity that seems to be endless. eBay has such a mass appeal that it truly is one of the best places to sell anything. I too would like to see the Parts at reasonable prices and found on sites like this. and I am certain in time we will develop our own group of sellers. It does seem logical that this would be a place to search for stuff that is Shelby related to be for sale.
I've seen where SAAC was looking to just go "internet" with the SnakeBite Bulletin to save on costs. And with that, there is the usual time delay in when you send in the listing, then it gets printed, and mailed throughout the world. The "Shelbys for sale" numbers have fallen in the SBB. Oh, one more thing. How do you "post" and ad? I've looked and looked but can't seem to find the icon to click on in order to post an ad. Maybe that is the problem. Don't make it too easy, or we'll be inundated with "wanted GT 500" postings...
Check here for instructions on how to post a classified ad. The main thing to remember is to log in to the classified ad software. It uses your same username and password for the main site. http://www.shelbyforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=119 RS
