Just a heads up for all. There is a 66 GT350H just listed on Ebay and it was being offered for $40,000 " Buy It Now". I know, it sounds too good to be true and it was. I ran the serial number and found that it is currently advertised at and in the possesion of a dealer in Minnesota. The Ebay seller has some lame-*ssed sob story about his wife leaving him , the car is stored in St.Hubert, Quebec, Canada and he needs fast cash. Please send half by Paypal and he will deliver anywhere in the US for free. The dealer sounded like a nice guy, has the car advertised for $101,000 but would take $90,000, and said this is not the first time someone has hijacked his photos and offered it for sale cheap. Just a warning, for a minute I almost bit myself.
Never buy a Car without seeing it in Person, or at least having a neutral party look it over for you if it is a car far from home. I sold a 70 SS Chevelle 454 to a guy in Hawaii. He called and kept requesting different photos so he knew that I actually had the car! and always remeber if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is!
I know this is an old post. That was my Shelby that was for sale in 2004. We actually sold it in Aug or Sept of 2004 to a fellow in Pennsylvania. It was also on the cover of Hagerty Insurance after I sold it. I was doing a search with the serial number and this post came up. Just found it interesting that the bogus "seller" was using my car's serial number A local dealership, Morries Masaratti sold it on commission. Just a footnote.
