Getting ready to slip my r-code automatic transmission back in and noticed that my torque converter nuts looking like they really need replaced. Anybody have a resource to purchase these fine threaded nuts? Secondly the rubber isolator located directly under the tailshaft has a small nub pointing out of one end. Not sure if it should go towards the front or back? Any one recall? It fits in both directions it seems. Thanks, Tony H. -- Tony Hardesty 68' GT500KR 428CJ FB Shelby 71' Bill Stroppe Baja Bronco
You should be able to source the nuts from AMK Products in Virginia. Someone else will have to handle the rubber bumper.
