Looking thru the Reg. the other day, & noticed that the 68- 350--500--& K.R. could all be had with a Ram-Air hood " option ". What does this hood look like ? I've only seen one style on the 68's. Also, my car { Jan. 68 } has left lower scoop & the right upper scoop with the { " witness line ' } on the edge of the scoop. Was this an up grade for the later 500's & K.R.---Thanks.---S.

Unless they considered the hood scoop ram air, none except the KR. Remember they also listed 427's and Paxtons in the early literature. As far as witness lines, they were changed during production. I know of several cars that had one of each.

Did they do that on purpose or is it a mistake?

I don't think it is a mistake. Probably related to vendor change or cost cutting. I like them.
