My name is Zed From Sydney Australia
i was wondering if anyone could assist me please .....
the car mentoined above that is on the web Carsource.com above heading

i bought this car from a man by the name of Bob in the us and shipped it to
Sydney Australia , i am wondering if you could put me in contact with the
appropriate people to discuss history of the car , i would love to collect
some more documentation and confirm some more history about this wonderful car , i bought this car
along with a red GT500KR ,
Struth these 2 cars are something else here in sydney Australia
all walks of life come up and talk to you and admire them , i would love to
really know some history about the GT350 ,
Kevin Marti has told me the car was sold via Stark Hickey Ford Inc
i have not managed to obtain The Ford invoices for kevin they do not have anything
and would love to talk to the correct people... i have managed to get a statement of value
from SAAC that was issued to Ronald F Stevens Salinas CA , the certificate of title i have
reads Erickson Robert S ANAHEIM CA 92805
Can anyone please assist ,

Government Department for the import permit is
http://www.dotars.gov.au/transport/safety/road/bulletin/importing.aspx
you will have to apply for this prior to shipping out the vehile from the us

as for the DUTY Tax the car is over 30years old and is duty free ( Australian Customs )
GST Goods andservices tax is 10% of combine Cost of car + Freight + Insurance +Duty if any.

Department of argriculture ( AQIS Quarantine)
it is advised that you have the car fully detailed and vacumned inside out'
the under carrige steam cleaned and a certificate issued from the detailer that the car was cleaned for export to Australia.

if the car has air conditioner you will have to apply for a licence for gases brought into the country CFC gases
most of the time we disclose that THE CAR AT THAT AGE DOES NOT HAVE AIRCONDINER
and if the car has airconditioner athat it ha been dicommisioned and does not have gas in it , it does not work.

Glad to hear there are a few more of these cars back home. I have a GT500KR, which I plan eventually to ship back to Oz. I was just wondering what your experiences were with the shipping, importing and registration procedures. I'll be heading back to Perth, and I know the rules are different state to state, but I'm still interested to hear a real story...
