    Hi,

Did the 1966 GT350s, originally from Shelby, have a spacer between the Cobra aluminum intake manifold and the Holley 3259 carb?

    Thanks for your help,
    John Thomas

Strange thing found in the 1965 parts list from SA.
Two different gaskets are listed for the 65 Shelby
    Mustang:
C5ZA-9447-A, Gasket, Carb to Manifold 1M/S, Vendor Crotty.
Price Retail: $.16 and Dealer: $.11
S1MS-9447-A, Gasket, Carb to Manifold, Thick, No Vendor listed.
Price Retail: $.40 and Dealer: $.26.
I wonder how thick the S1MS was to avoid vapor lock. Would love
to find a NOS like that.

Wonder if the S1 part was used or not used on the street/production Shelbys originally?

Checked some of the parts list I've got.

C5ZA-9447-A is listed as the carb to manifold gasket used for the 66 and again on 67 Trans Am cars

Will see if I can find any other reference.
