Hope I am not bothering anyone, but I can not get an answer to my question from other mustang forums and thought I would try here.

Without going into a lot of details, I have a 68 Mustang with Tach and recently installed a duraspark II ignition. No one seems to know how I reconnect the factory tach to the new electronic ignition.

Has anyone with a 68 GT350 or 500 installed electronic ignition and if so, how did you reconnect the tach?

    I really appreciate the help!

I have electronic ignition, Pertronix with coil
and cables on my Shelby 67 and I never did anything
to the tach hook up. All the tachs for early Mustangs are
connected to the positive side of the coil through a resistor
wire. Very important to use the wire or a resistor to reduce
the voltage over the coil after the car has started and is running.
    Hope it helps,
