OK, As posted in another on this Forum Thread about Carroll Shelby’s 1969 Shelby Convertible being sold at Barrett-Jackson in January, I came up with an idea for “THE BID IS RIGHT” Game that is similar to the TV Game “The Price is Right”. I just finished the Web Page at www.mestengofx.com and the Players Form is Up Loaded. The rules are easy and the Players Fee is just $20.00 per Bid. The Person with the Bid nearest to the actual Selling Price with out going over WINS 50% of the Players Fees collected (less $1.00 for a Postal Money Order). The remaining 50% of the Players Fees will be sent to the Carroll Shelby Children’s Foundation. See the Web Site for more information and if you have any questions please contact me. Please tell others about this Game.

OOOOOOOOOKAY......... Up-Date........ since a couple of people have discussed "WHAT COULD HAPPEN" Legally with this friendly Game between cool people........ I have decided to just make this a Fun game on this Forum to make sure no Legal Suits get involved. SO with that said, I will be removing the stuff about this from my web site and if anyone has already sent in a Players Form, it will be sent back. NOW: Just place your Bid hear (for Fun). Please Do not use someone elses Bid and keep the Bids at least $25.00 apart. Have Fun and Good Luck. To make it easy for people to see the Bids so as not to copy it, Only Post your Bid. Only Bid Once. Thanks.

And the winning bid was $675,000 by Ron Pratte (of course).

    Len had the closest guess.
