The end of SVT ???

    If this is the end of SVT does that mean this is the only year the GT 500 Shelby will be made.

    I heard that they were going to move the production of the Shelby Mustang to the regular Mustang line, like the Mach 1.

    Check the latest from "AutoWeek". Ford Exec. Mark Fields says that SVT is down(sized), not out. Instead of five vehicles at a time, there will be two. Work is in progress on a SVT F-150 truck similar to the last Lightning concept. Plan is for 5000 to 10,000 units of each SVTvehicle per year. Scale back includes merging with the Ford Team Racing division.

    I don't think they are moving production. I can't remember where they are going to produce the car but Carroll told me the other day that the capacity of the facility is what is limiting production to around 8000 units.
