Now that the echoes of BJ have sort of faded away, need the expert's opinion on the subject of tires. Our 1969 Mustang originally came with white side wall tires. I know that the raised white letter tires were an option for that year. It would appear, from looking a pictures from 1969 to present, that the white walls sort of faded out in popularity and the raised white letter tires took over. So, the question is, for MCA judging, should one stick with the white walls or go with the raised white letters? What experience have you had with the various manufacturers? Have heard some concerns about the quality of both BF Goodrich (wonder if that has calmed down now that they have been taken over by Michelin) and Goodyear. I have had both makes of tires in the past and had no problems, but my last experience buying tires for a classic was over 6 years ago. Any other suggestions? Thanks for the help Ron
