I have pulled my cars with different vehicles/trailers, a Shelby GT350 and a Vette Stingray. If you are doing a lot of events and travel a lot, then an enclosed trailer for security is probably better. If not, then an open trailer. I have had both, a Texas Braggs steel hauler flat bed, Pace Rallye enclosed, and now I have a Featherlite Aluminum flatbed that I love. I had the enclosed trailer when I used to do a lot of events. Now, I haul only a few times a year and don't worry about security. For a truck, again, if you're hauling a lot, then a turbo diesel of some sort is what you'd want, F350, or Dodge 2500/3500. I have pulled with a Dodge Ram, Chevy Tahoe, and now a Dodge 1500 Sport 4x4. Open trailers are lighter, easier to pull, the enclosed trailer adds a bunch of weight, even if it's lighweight like a Featherlite. Mileage ranges from 10-15mpg with flatbed, 9-10 with that enclosed trailer. Sway bars and load leveler set up is a must. I have to keep my trailer outdoors, so the alum. trailer right now is great, no rust issues and takes up very little room. I have a aero nose cone on it, so I don't worry about stones or debris flying up and hitting the car. Once you figure out what you want, do your homework, see all the trailers/trucks you are considering, ask people who own the same how they like their equipment. If you have anything specific in mind, just email or PM me and I'll be happy to answer questions. When I had a Superformance Cobra dealership, I pulled a 2 car enclosed trailer with a F350 Dually Turbo Diesel and that truck by far was awesome pulling that big-ass load.

Yep, an expense like this, you have to do your homework, like I said, I've used Fords/Chevy's/Dodges and hauled steel/alum flat beds, 1 car enclosed and 2 car enclosed, so I have a lot of experience!

Is that a open or closed unit? I don't recognize the name.
Did you see my enclosed unit with the anti-sway @ the Lucas or MCA national in Sands Point?

Beware of using a f150. We race dirt bikes with a 20' enclosed trailer and have found our 150 will pull it but it is scary. We also have a Turbo diesel excursion 4wd with dual stabilizer bars and you dont even know its there. I would really look at a 250 or anything in 3/4 ton range with trailer package and bars. Good luck
