Try Y Headers

    That depends on how much you want to match the originals. A number of vendors are making them, all using current technology. The originals have square ports and the tubes were not welded on the outside of the header flange but on the inside and then ground flat.
    The headers that match the originals are sold by Jim Cowles when he has them. Not cheap.

    My car is also a driver. It has an old set of Headman 4 tube headers. I can tell you the perfect matching set of Try-Y's are going to run right at $1000.00.

    Did a '68 Shelby GT350 come stock with headers?

    nope...exhaust manifolds(way better ground clearance by the way)headers were done after 66...........

    I have a '68 GT350 that presently has headers & dual mufflers.

    I definitely want to get rid of the headers and go with the stock exhaust manifolds. What would you suggest for the rest of the exhaust?
