Trying to verify this one. Red, super-low miles. I think it was in Florida, 1 to 2 months ago. And NOT one of those Elen***** re-bops.

    Anybody know anything?

If I remember correctly there were two red GT500.....

convertibles. One was in Florida and one was in Alabama. One got up to $240M but did not meet the reserve and one sold for around $225M. I think. I'm old and don't remember anything like I used to. In fact, I can't do anything like I used to.

If you can remember more, I'd be very grateful, as I think one had 7400 miles on it, and I know the history on the car, including original owner.

OK, now that I'm trying to remember that night, I came in the middle of the auction & it was I believe a 68 conv. highland green. The commentators were saying that this car was PERFECT in every way, & even the folks from the shelby club would not be able to find anything wrong with it. I think it was on a saturday night.-- I was waiting for some shelbys to appear & went upataires to get a beer, came down & missed the opening.-- Also I think the price closed at 205,000 plus the 8 per cent buyers fee, & some taxes around 221,000 --224,000.--- Then in March in FL. there was another conv. but I fell asleep.--sorry that's all I can remember.---S.
