Has anyone had any luck in lightening up their cars. I have looked at BMR k member and lower arms and maybe headers and 1 piece aluminum driveshaft.I put the car on a scale and it was 3920 with fuel stock. would like to get it down to 3650 or less. I know the brakes are heavy and the f1 tires don't help but you need those big rotors to pull it down from speed and good tires to go fast. would like to hear from people who have tryed before I spend alot of hard earned cash on minimal results.
    Thanks

if you really want to lighten the car, start with the interior. Pull out the carpet, the sound deadener, sound system, rear seat, heater, and change the seats in front to lightweight racing seats.

Now where have I heard this before ? Oh yeah, it's the first thing Shelby did when he took the '65 GT-350 to the races (GT-350R)
