I like carring the Halon type they are getting harder to find to buy but there are a few venders selling them. They are not cheap but I think they are the best for a car fire if you ever need one. They do the best job with no damage like many of the other extiquishers.

Halon or Halonex. If you ever use a powder type you'll know why. Aside from the mess they are corrosive.

I got a Halon unit for Christmas. Came from Aircraft Spruce & Speciality.

    http://aircraftspruce.com/catalog/pspages/halon1211.php

The A344TC is a 1.3lb H1311 unit certified for aircraft use. Sells for $116.95 Mounts on the roll bar. As far as I can tell, this is the best bargain in a quality chrome Halon extinguisher. You can get one painted red for $80.95 also. (Who would put anything but a chrome one in a Shelby?)
