an acquantance of mine had a 66 gt-350 be bought back in 1984 for $7000. he kept it nice and drove it ocassionaly. it was red with white stripes not sure if the engine was original. not a pristine show car but a nice respectful driver. he traded it and some $$ to another fellow i know and he was offered $38,000 for it and going bye what he said that wasn't quite enough. he traded it for away to another guy. what is something like that worth? i can track down the car probably pretty easily. pete

Really nice 66s can be six figure cars. It is unusual to see cars under $50,000

A whole lot depends on originality, then condition. I saw a 66 last year, somewhere between driver and show, let's say nice driver. Repaint, etc. Service replacement engine. Appraised at $75k.

Another guy had one for sale, asking $75k. Went to look at it. Engine out, fenders off, half the suspension on the workbench, etc. Parts all over the garage, He said 75 as-is. Assembled, 125. Car is still un-sold.
