    Hi Everyone,

I hate to ask an open question like this, but I need some advice and this is about the only forum I trust advice from.

I have a 2008 GT CS that I supercharged and put the Saleen suspension and watts link on. I blew up the stock motor and replaced it with a 5.0L stroker. With the smaller pulley and fuel injectors I am about to put on it should be around 500 RWHP.

My problem is I am still stock tires and brakes. I know I am one of those weenies that just has a lot of horse power and has not done anything else, hence my explanation of how I got to this point.

I have some Hawk HPS in my basement that I bought when I bought the supercharger, but know I need more than that.

I do not race the car, but do drive on the autobahn. Since I do not race, I am unsure whether or not it is worth getting new wheels to fit a bigger brake kit or if just upgrading my stock brake kit will be enough.

Should I upgrade my rotors and brake line and put the Hawk HPS on, or should I find some bigger wheels and put the Ford Racing kit on? Also, is staggering the tires worth doing for non drag applications?

Any advice would be appreciated since it is hard to decide when there are so many options and I lack experience.

    Thank you

I doubt anyone cares, but I did not want to leave this open.

I ended up getting a set of rear Hawk HPS since I already had the front and I bought Cryo treated Powerslot rotors for front and back.

I will also put Goodridge Phantom Series brake lines on.

This decision was made due to various things I read. Some which I believed, some which I dismissed. There was discussion of unsprung weight and not needing big brakes unless planning on doing road courses.

It is also a lot easier to not have to worry about picking new wheels.
