Just like to know if anybody owns my old 68 Gt500 fastback it was black on black. It was the 439th Shelby Gt500 made and it was a automatic . Sold new by Ronny Hames Ford in Sount Bend Indiana. I can tell you about the car and have some pictures not sure on the spelling of the Ford dealer.
I don't know who owns your car now, but I own a 68GT500 and my is within the first 100 made. You can't say that your old GT500 was the 439th made, just because the number is 00439. If that were true that would mean that up until that ponit that all they made is GT500s. what about the GT350 fastbacks and the GT350 convertibles and the GT500 convertibles? They weren"t all built in order anyway. Good luck with your search.
