I see where the UAW went on Strike now at Chrysler. It is only a mater of time before they set their eyes back on Ford. I keep waiting for the "BIG 3" to just say "SCREW IT.........you are ALL Fired". I am not sure how long it would take to train new workers, but it might be worth it, after all, Robots do a lot of it. Yes, the workers should be able to EARN a decent wage and have Medical Insurance, but D*NM, it seems that every couple of years they go on strike, by now, they must be making $250.00 an Hour and don't have to pay for any Insurance. It would be nice to know WHY they are going on Strike every time they go on Strike. David.
No kidding......the whole matter is just sort of a waste of national news time. Furthermore, the strikes are conducted in a bull**** manner as the labor unions always go to the press before the manufacturer. This only gives the companies bad reps and paints the workers as though they are some kind of suffering artist. Im just kind of tired of hearing it. I know that labor unions are needed in some cases but it seems like they abuse their power constantly. So, yes, i would have to say that ford will be next because the worker at ford will get greedy because they will see that their counterparts over at GM and Chrysler have just recieved upped wages. These unions seem to be becoming more whiny than a 5 year old. Best Regards, Vern
