If I upgrade under the hood, My 89 Shelby Dakota has 82,000 on it and I'm thinking of pulling the engine and trans over the winter and giving them a once over, If I go to a 360 create motor will I be hurting my truck in the eyes of the Shelby folks or helping it? I've seen some of the Mustangs that have had the engines changed to larger CI's and it seems that its been a plus...I don't want to be caught in a deal down the road having another Shelby person looking at my truck then open the hood and hear, you changed the motor! You ruined the truck. Maybe I'm being stupid here, just need some imput on this guys.
I wouldn't be mad at you. Just make sure you stock motor. They way when it pulls in some value you can swap it back.
